6 steps to buying your home

1. Register with me

Let me know what you are looking for - I can help you find the right home.

2. What can I borrow

Get your mortgage approval in place – it’s important to know how much you can borrow so you know what your budget is to buy.

3. Attend viewings

Looking at homes for sale will give you a better idea of what you would like to buy and narrow down your search requirements.

4. Instruct a Solicitor

Have a solicitor ready to act for you in the sale.

5. Making an offer

Once you’ve identified the home you wish to buy, make an offer. It’s important that you outline the terms of your offer, and that you have funding in place and what it is subject to.

6. Survey, exchange & complete

When you agree terms, you’ll pay a booking deposit to the agent. Arrange a surveyor, sign a contract, and pay 10% when your solicitor is satisfied with the title. On completion you pay the remainder and move in.
